L'Etoile Lab

An elegant approach to neuroscience

The L'Etoile lab is primarily curiosity driven - we use our exploration of  how neural circuits within an organism change while it learns and how memories of that learned behavior are encoded to spring board into fun and mysreious behaviors. We use the nematode C. elegans to study learning, memory formation and consolidation, synaptic plasticity, and epigenetics. We are committed to overcoming the limits of neuroscience by creating tools to non-invasively monitor real time molecular changes in neurons and glia in live animals.
